My sister asked about “Hanging Felt” (Robert Morris), @ Mumok Vienna

I think of an object and it’s innate qualities- in response to fundametal principles - gravity.

Alright.
Bringing attention to the amazing subtleties around us. Things we over look, pass over in our insanely fast (and amazing) world.

Why does felt matter? … It doesn’t… really. I think of Eatock and his hanging tapes, another version of this same concept.

These seem like a sort of plee, some sort of cry out in our world of over consumption. To realize the qualities and subtitles in the objects and things around us. What makes them unique and special - why we may choose one over the other instead of both. Or “both for the price of one”

I think also of how I have been taking photos lately.

A lot of ideas right now.
More later.
